Jayden Daniels 3,325 Pass Yards (-115) Reasoning

Jayden Daniels is coming off of what might be the best rookie season for a quarterback in league history. His passing numbers don't appear eye-popping, but there's a lot more than just the numbers to consider. He suffered a rib injury that he seemed to consistently re-aggravate throughout the season, which limited his ability to throw the ball. He was also routinely pulled from games when Washington was clearly going to win. Setting his line at 3,325 yards after he passed for 3,568 last year is surprising, especially when Washington only added pieces on offense. The run game saw no noticeable improvements through the draft or free agency, and the Commanders beefed up the offensive line considerably, adding Laremy Tunsil and Josh Connerly at the tackle spots. Losing Sam Cosmi for the year will hurt, but Washington has done an adequate job of shifting pieces around to remedy that situation. Bringing in Deebo Samuel, who by all accounts has been stellar in camp, and Michael Gallup, definitely upgrade the receiver room, which for years has been reliant on Terry McLaurin to carry the load. Jayden should have a much easier time racking up yards, which is hard to believe, given how he played last year.
